The Informational Meetings Series Completed
The series of informational meetings with students at the Supreme Election Commission has been completed. The sessions were held within the framework of cooperation between the Supreme Election Commission and the Youth Supreme Council. The Deputy Chairperson of the SEC, Nodar Meladze, shared detailed information with the participants about election day. The SEC member Irakli Gvarjaladze discussed all the steps of the voting procedures.

The Information Meeting at SEC
The Supreme Election Commission of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara and the Supreme Youth Council have begun informational meetings with students living in the Adjara region. Today, the Chairperson of the Commission, Parmen Jalaghonia, spoke about the impact of disinformation on the electoral process. Rusudan Ananiashvili, Head of the Institutional Development Division of the SEC, provided detailed information on the role of international organisations in electoral processes, the mandates, election observation standards and code of ethics.

Representatives of the Supreme Election Commission (SEC), Mariam Gugunava, Fridon Batnidze and Nestan Nakashidze, participated as international observers in the local elections of Portugal. The staff members of the SEC monitored the elections at the official invitation of the National Elections Commission (CNE).

Representatives of the Supreme Election Commission (SEC) participated as international observers in the parliamentary elections of Norway. The staff members of SEC, Head of Institutional Development Division, Rusudan Ananiashvili and Senior Specialist of Election Processes Management Department, Maia Tsinaridze, monitored the elections at the official invitation of the Local Governance and Regional Development Ministry of the Kingdom of Norway.

The Working Meeting with Students
Today, the Supreme Election Commission organised a working meeting for students of Batumi State University. The meeting was held within the framework of the "Visit State Institutions" project. The chairperson of the SEC, Parmen Jalaghonia, informed students about the Supreme Election Commission's activities, technological innovations, and their importance in developing a democratic society.

Information Meeting
On October 4, the Supreme Election Commission and LEPL Centre for Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Training (Training Center), in partnership with the Central Election Commission of Georgia (CEC) conducted informational meetings with female representatives of political parties registered for the elections. The Chairman of the Higher Election Commission of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Parmen Jalaghonia, and the Director of the Centre for Election Systems Development, Reforms and Training, Natia Zaalishvili opened the event. They briefed about the importance of strengthening mechanisms for the development of electoral opportunities to promote the active involvement of women in electoral processes.

The Election Administration (EA) continues its large-scale campaign regarding electronic elections.
